This work deals with an experience of rural education and agroecology developed in the municipality of Igarapé-Miri/Pa, within the training program for young people and adults in the Saberes Miriense field, which has as its methodological basis the pedagogy of alternation, in which in the At school time, students receive training and at community time, they apply in practice the knowledge acquired on their properties, in the system of solidarity efforts, which enables them to optimize family production in an agroecological way, providing subsidies for the realization of the agroecological fair of organized family production and carried out by the municipal secretary of education, as a way of stimulating production based on the generation of work and income for students.
