Abstract

As a rural education institution, Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Triângulo
Mineiro (IFTM) – Campus Uberlândia should be adapted to the agricultural advances,
but must also find a way for the owners to make their living Production and compete in the
market. In this context the aim of this work was to report the implementation of an Agroforestry
Pedagogical System in the premises of IFTM - Campus Uberlândia. Therefore, a SAF model
was designed, and it presented diversity in agroecological systems for residents of the region
in order to replicate the knowledge and to also deepen it. As a result, a productive SAF was
obtained in cooperation between students, teachers, farmers and residents.
