Abstract

This work presents part of the project of extension agroecologia in the schools of the field in
Escola Terezinha Jesus, in Goiás-GO, by NAEC Gwatá/UEG. The methodology was the research-
action, with formation on agroecologia in the school curriculum, in dialogue of the Geography
with Agroecologia, and the soil as axis for the planning of the activities in the Fundamental
Teaching. It was lifted up contents, references and practices, and the vegetable garden
as pedagogic tool. This experience showed the importance of the agroecologia in the school
of the field, with your práxis in the handling of the soil, that can be included in the structure
curricular or extracurricular, as a discipline or practice in the vegetable garden, nursery and of
the orchard. The agroecologia is integral part of the school knowledge and the culture farmer,
and as the students they are originating from of the life in the field, is fundamental the insert of
practices agroecológicas in the schools of the field.
