An experience in processing of forest fruits in the Baixo Munim region

The foods production based on the use of native fruits brings with it questions of culture, tradition,
valuation of natural resources and more quality of life for those who live in the countryside,
allied to the exchange of agroecological knowledge. New ways to present of use these products
is resignify food, as well as to value and preserve agroforestry resources. The realization
of the regional fruit processing workshop of Baixo Munim shows that it is possible to generate
debate and reflection on food and nutritional security, as well as to demonstrate that native
fruits can be an important strategy to practice Agroecology and open doors for the generate
farmers profits.
