Abstract

This research was carried out in partnership with two Agroecology Centers (NEAs), one in the city of Cáceres (MT) and the other in Catalão (GO). It is known that the National School Feeding Program is a broad program that has the demand of 30% of its resources to be used for family farming. It is also known that the preference of these products of family production are organic and / or agroecological products. The objective was to understand who are these important subjects with prominence in the PNAE and how is the logistics (reception and distribution) of these foods and with how many units of education this food is distributed. The importance of this program to Agroecology is precisely through the incentive to agroecological production, due to the preference of this product assured by law, inducing the producers to remain in this model of production and seek even more producers to carry out their crops in this model of agriculture.
